Our Square picture frames are custom made in our UK workshop. We use the latest picture framing equipment to make the most accurate modern square picture frames on the market. We do two types of square frames, ones with mounts and ones without mounts.
The square photo frame with mounts is specially cut using our latest CMC computerised mount cutter with acid free 45 degree cut mounts that enhances the picture when going around the frame. The mount border inside the frame is 5mm less rebate all the way around the inside of the mount where the picture sits. The 5mm rebate is added so the picture doesn’t fall through. So, for example if your picture is 16” x 12”. You will need to order a frame with a mount size: 20” x 16” outside frame size with aperture opening of 16” x 12”. Once we get the order, we will make 5mm less inside of the aperture 15.75” x 11.75”, Then all you need to go once you get frame with the mount, is open the back of the frame, and using masking tape, tape the top and bottom to hold the picture into place.
The square picture frame without a mount is a frame that goes to the edge of the frame. This a basic simple design frame. We can make any size square picture frames, if you can’t find it on our square picture frame category, we can custom make it any size!
Once you order your frame, each square frame is made with the highest quality, using the best quality picture frame moulding on the market. Each frame includes the frame, Perspex front (lighter and safer than glass) MDF backing, fixtures and fittings to hang on the wall.
We stock all the popular frame colours on the market, including, black, oak, mahogany, silver, white and gold. You can also choose from seven different mount colours including, ivory, white, grey, black, blue, green and red.
